Murdock to represent Water Works and Electric Board of the City of Elba on PowerSouth Board of Trustees

ANDALUSIA, ALA. — Mickey Lane Murdock of Elba, Ala., has been elected to represent the Water Works and Electric Board of the City of Elba on the PowerSouth Board of Trustees. Murdock’s appointment to the board was approved at PowerSouth’s June 27 board meeting.

Murdock replaces the late David Bandstra. He serves as Chairman of the Water Works and Electric Board.

Murdock is Senior Vice President of National Security Insurance Company and serves on the National Security Group, Inc. Member Board of Directors, as well as the Investment Committee. He is a member of the Elba Rotary Club and Ino Baptist Church.

Murdock earned his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant.

He and his wife, Liz, have three children: Keith, Craig and Daniel.
