ANDALUSIA, ALA.– Hilbert Hall of Atmore, Ala., has been elected to represent Southern Pine EC, headquartered in Brewton, on the PowerSouth Board of Trustees. Halls’ appointment was approved at PowerSouth’s Sept. 23 board meeting.
Hall is a self-employed farmer in Atmore, as well as Director of the Escambia County Farmers Federation. He replaces outgoing board member Vernon Baggett.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Auburn University.
“I’m passionate about what cooperatives stand for in our community,” Hall said. “I believe it is our responsibility to take care of our members, and I know PowerSouth operates on that philosophy as well. It is an honor to serve as a PowerSouth board member.”
Hall and his wife, Annette, reside in the Poarch community near Atmore. They have three sons, Eris, Scotty and Mark.
