LIVINGS TO REPRESENT DIXIE EC ON POWERSOUTH BOARD OF TRUSTEES

ANDALUSIA, ALA.– John Livings of Montgomery, Ala., has been elected to represent Dixie EC, headquartered in Montgomery, on the PowerSouth Board of Trustees. Livings’ appointment was approved at PowerSouth’s Sept. 23 board meeting.

Livings, who is a Certified Public Accountant at Livings, Lankford, Lambert and Company, P.C., replaces outgoing PowerSouth board member Irvin Wells.

He attended the University of Alabama and is a credentialed Board Director with a Board Leadership Certificate.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve PowerSouth Energy Cooperative in this capacity,” said Livings. “I intend to carry forth the same principles with PowerSouth as I do with Dixie EC.”

Livings and his wife, Faye, have two children, Debra Gibson and Billy Livings.
