ANDALUSIA, ALA. — PowerSouth is officially registered under the United States Patent and Trademark Office, effective May 20.
Now that PowerSouth has completed the registration process, the logo will be displayed with an ®, instead of the “SM” mark, which is indicative of an unregistered service mark.
“Having a registered trademark protects the PowerSouth name and offers a consistent representation of the company,” says Mark Ingram, PowerSouth Corporate Communication Department Manager.
PowerSouth’s trademark registration will be valid for a 10-year period, ending May 20, 2018.
