Principal Engineer - Electrical

PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, an electric generation and transmission cooperative serving Alabama and Northwest Florida, is seeking a Principal Engineer (Electrical) for the Central Generation Plants near Andalusia, Alabama and will require relocation.  This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and eight or more years of documented work experience in the application of the specific discipline, preferably in the area of power generation or closely related area.  Professional registration may be considered as one year of experience. Work experience should include project management, independent assignments, and documented supervision skills.  This position provides engineering expertise, supervision and general oversight of project activities in generation, transmission, distribution or any other functional area that requires experienced application of specific engineering principles.  This position may function as project manager, team leader, group supervisor and/or general superintendent.  The primary responsibilities will be in the area of power generation.  PowerSouth Energy Cooperative offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits program.  Interested persons who meet the above qualifications should send a confidential resume including salary requirements to:
